The Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute (CHLI)
will host its Regional Future Leaders Conference on Friday, April19th, 2013, in The Texas A&M University Campus. The Conference, themed, "Explore the World. Discover your Future!” will include the participation of experts from the public and private sectors, as well as members of Congress and representatives of Fortune 500 companies. Congressman Bill Flores has honored us and is serving as Conference Chairman.
The CHLI Future Leaders Conference is open to allcollege students, young professionals and high school seniors. Speakers and members of the audience will be discussing innovation and global competitiveness and will highlight the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math education (STEM). All discussions are centered on young leaders and their path to success in becoming global leaders.
CHLI’s Chairman and former Member of Congress, the Honorable Lincoln Diaz-Balart will provide opening remarks for this one of a kind conference. Members of our Congressional Board of Directors will also participate. The conference starts at 8:30 a.m and concludes at 2:00 p.m. after a networking luncheon where participants will gather information on internships, financial aid, career opportunities and more. Registration is complimentary and it includes breakfast and lunch.
