CHLI AND AYUDA TO PRESENT FINDINGS ON HISPANIC
IMMIGRANTS IN WASHINGTON, DC
WASHINGTON, DC – The Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute (CHLI) and Ayuda will hold a press conference on Wednesday, September 5th at 11:00 a.m. at the National Press Club to discuss the results of a recent poll on Hispanic immigrants in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. The findings show an interesting picture of local Hispanic immigrants and their interest in participating in the political process, their thoughts on the recent immigration debate in Congress and their attitudes on social issues.
