Telemundo's "Vota Por Tu Futuro" Encourages Latinos Across the U.S to Register and Vote

Washington D.C. -CHLI congratulates Emilio Romano, President of Telemundo Media, on his commitment to promote voter registration through its multi-platform campaign, "Vota Por Tu Futuro". "As a former U.S. Congressman, I personally applaud collaborative efforts to get all U.S. Hispanics to register and vote, because all citizens in a democracy have not only the right, but the obligation, to vote." stated Lincoln Diaz-Balart, former U.S. Congressman and CHLI Founder & Chairman.


National Voter Registration Day is September 25 and throughout the day and weeks to come, Telemundo will air new public service announcements, special features, and promote its online resources for all to research information to assist them in registering to vote.
