Washington, D.C. - The Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute (CHLI) is pleased to announce Alejandro Luis Sarría, of McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP, as its new General Counsel.
Mr. Sarría is a government contracts litigator who specializes in the areas of government contract claims and disputes, federal contractor tort litigation and bid protests. He has represented major government contractors in United States Federal District Court, the United States Court of Federal Claims, the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals, and the United States Government Accountability Office. Mr. Sarria also counsels clients on compliance with federal contracting regulations and conducts internal investigations on a wide-range of subjects.
Mr. Sarría earned his law degree from The George Washington University Law School and is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications. During law school, he served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Judge Shelby Highsmith of the United States Federal District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He grew up in Miami, Florida and is a son of Cuban exiles. Mr. Sarría now lives Washington, D.C. with his wife, Tracy.
