Information Warfare Officer for the Navy & Former CHLI Fellow
The Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute would like to congratulate former CHLI Fellow Lyana Cortes on her recently earned commission to the Navy as an Ensign (ENS). After a rigorous three phase, three month program, Lyana, met all the physical fitness requirement, passed all the academic courses, as well as the uniform inspections and met the character standards of a United States Naval officer, she was approved for graduation. She has been assigned to be an Information Warfare Officer. In this position she will conduct psychological operations and help ensure that America's Navy capitalizes on the information vulnerabilities of our enemies.
