CHLI is proud to share that board member, Emilio Gonzalez, Executive Director of Strategic Alliances for Verizon was honored last week at the League of United Latin American Citizens annual conference with the inaugural National Corporate Champion of the Year Award! The award recognizes an executive in corporate America who has devoted their professional career to improving the lives of Hispanic Americans and championing LULAC's mission. He was honored for his leadership in carrying out a vision to create apps that empower and educate the community. His team at Verizon programmed the immigo immigration and the LULAC opportunity apps to cultivate the community.


"On behalf of Verizon, I would like to share our appreciation for the recognition. We are also very proud of the work we do in partnership with many other organizations, including CHLI," said Emilio Gonzalez.
