CHLI ANNOUNCES ADDITION OF NEW BOARD MEMBERS
Five New Members Join CHLI’s Board of
Directors
Washington, D.C. - The Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute (CHLI) is proud to
announce the addition of five (5) new members to its Board of Directors: Rep. Francisco "Quico” Canseco (TX-23), Rep. Bill Flores
(TX-17), Rep. Raul Labrador (ID-1), Rep. David Rivera (FL-25), and Mr. David
Olivencia of Oracle.
CHLI’s Board of
Directors, the governing body for the organization, is led by its Chairman,
former Congressman Lincoln Diaz-Balart.
The Board of Directors sets the focus and direction, and provides
support to staff. It is comprised of
twelve (12) Corporate Board Members and ten (10) Congressional Board
Members. The five (5) new members join a
team of established and well-respected colleagues: Treasurer- Christopher Turner (Dell, Inc.),
Secretary- Susan Santana (AT&T), Vice Chairman - Rep. Henry Cuellar
(TX-28), Vice Chairman – Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart (FL-21), Rep. Ileana
Ros-Lehtinen (FL-18), Rep. Devin Nunes (CA-21), Rep. Albio Sires (NJ-13), Rep.
Pedro Pierluisi (PR), John Hoel (Altria Client Services Inc.), Vicki Iseman
(Carnival Foundation), Rudy Beserra (The Coca-Cola Company), Susan Gonzales
(Comcast Foundation), Orlando Padilla (Padilla NetWorks, LLC), Brian F. Doran,
Esq. (Banco Popular North America), Bert Gomez (Univision Communications,
Inc.), Belinda Garza (Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.), and Ivette Fernandez.

growth of CHLI’s Board of Directors ensures that the organization will continue
to benefit from the guidance of a distinguished group of individuals. Our
new Board Members represent diverse communities and sectors, and have a proven record of extraordinary
leadership,” said Chairman Lincoln Diaz-Balart.

the board of CHLI, as the son of Mexican immigrants I support their mission of
providing young Hispanics the tools to work closely with Congress and join the
business world. Hispanics are a very important voice in America, I am glad to
be part of such a great organization,” said Congressman Quico Canseco.
