Washington, DC - The Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute
Hispanic Heritage Month Gala will be held on Wednesday, September 28 at
7:00 p.m. The evening's program will include a lineup of speakers from
the Bush Administration, U.S. Congress and the Congressional Hispanic
Leadership Institute.

The Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute (CHLI) is a 501 (C) (3)
non-profit and non-partisan organization dedicated to creating a
broader awareness of the diversity of thought, heritage, interests and
views of the millions of Americans of Hispanic and Portuguese descent.
These Americans share views on issues of vital importance, including
different visions of the American Dream. The Institute endeavors to
both educate the public, media, academia and the private sector about
fellow Americans of Hispanic and Portuguese descent, and to educate
Hispanic and Portuguese Americans about the options for advancement and
vision of the American Dream.
