Ms. Gomez has also worked for various public relations and marketing firms in California covering issues in transportation, water, healthcare, planned development, and community events. Mary Ann Gomez shared, "My passion for promoting higher education for Hispanic youth and showing them how we can help our communities through the business world, combined with serving a diverse and inclusive board of directors excites me every day.”

Mary Ann is a board member of the University of the Pacific Alumni Association and previous board member of Citizens Against Lawsuit Abuse, Astronaut Jose M. Hernandez Reaching for the Stars Foundation and former President of the Chicano Latino Youth Leadership Project.
