Alberto Senior currently leads all the Latino community efforts at MillerCoors. In this role he is responsible in guiding MillerCoors engagement and investment strategy with this key constituency across the USA to ensure strong socially and commercially relevant bonds.
This includes leading the development and implementation of programs that engage and empower this community, while establishing brand awareness and loyalty for MillerCoors brands.
Prior to this role, he worked in marketing as the Multicultural marketing manager in Chicago and most recently as the Multicultural brand manager for the Miller Lite brand. In this last role he managed the development and implementation of marketing plans for the brand; including the development of equity and innovation work as well as managing partnerships with major properties like the Gold Cup, the Chivas de Guadalajara Mexican soccer team and the TBS show Lopez Tonight.
Prior to joining the beer business, he was an account supervisor on the Allstate Insurance business for La Agencia de Orci & Asociados in Chicago and a senior account executive at Lápiz Integrated Hispanic Marketing, where he worked on the Wrigley and Hanes businesses. A native of Venezuela, Alberto held brand management roles at 3M, Warner Lambert and Mavesa early in his career. Alberto holds a Master’s of Fine Arts from Queens College at The City University of New York and a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Universidad Metropolitana in Venezuela.
Alberto contributes extensively to the local community. Currently, he is a member of Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s Office of New Americans (ONA) Advisory Committee – a committee of advisors whose mission is to make Chicago the most immigrant-friendly city in the world. He has also served on the boards of Equality Illinois and the AIDS Foundation of Chicago and currently on behalf of MilerCoors on the corporate boards of NCLR, LULAC, CHLI, CNC and HACU.
