Steven Levine is Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility for Univision Communications Inc. (UCI) the leading multimedia company serving Hispanic America. Levine manages UCI’s community empowerment initiatives, the Company’s pro-social campaigns that provide the Hispanic community with access to information, resources and tools to achieve success. He has played an integral role in the development and launch of the “Univision Contigo” (Univision With You) empowerment platform, an expansion of the Company’s investment and partnership efforts to influence and empower the Hispanic community in the United States.
Some highlights of the Univision Contigo campaigns Levine has developed include education-focused programs that empower parents to develop early learning skills in their young children, guide families in supporting their students achieve academic success through innovative mobile tools, and help students to access critical financial aid for college. Levine is also currently leading UCI’s nonpartisan voter engagement efforts for the 2016 elections, for which Univision will provide the community with groundbreaking tools and guides to ensure they have everything they need to participate in this election.
Levine joined UCI as an associate in the Office of the CEO, a role in which he worked on cross-divisional priorities for the Company.
Prior to joining UCI, Levine worked with MSNBC and NBC News, where he contributed to the “Lean Forward” brand and 2012 GOP primary network coverage, respectively. Earlier in his career, he served as the associate director of Communications at the White House under President George W. Bush and as the director of Marketing for Jungle Island, a popular animal theme park in Miami.
Levine is a graduate of the NYU Stern School of Business where he earned a Master of Business Administration.
