Administrative & Operations Manager
Rudy Vargas, a native of Whittier, California, serves as the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute Executive Administrative Assistant. Rudy’s primary responsibilities include managing the day to day operations of the office and assisting President &CEO, Mary Ann Gomez. Currently a student at The University of the Potomac pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance, Rudy aspires to a career as a Financial Analyst.
Rudy began his journey with CHLI as an intern contributing to projects like the expansion of the Global Leaders Program and the revamping of the organization’s website. His time with CHLI was extended as his expertise proved to be integral to those projects and more. He is now primarily working with CHLI's President & CEO and also supporting CHLI’s Board of Directors and Corporate Advisory Council.
